## FAQ

- **What do you buy?** U.S. and world coins, gold, silver, platinum and palladium bullion, paper money, medals, tokens and gold and silver jewelry. If something is outside our field, we will tell you and refer you to a trusted colleague at no charge.
- **What do you charge for appraisals and offers?** Nothing to meet you and assess what you have. If you need a formal written appraisal we tell you the cost first; if you just want to sell, the offer is free.
- **Can you tell me anything about value before we meet?** Usually a lot. Send photos through the online form or by text - bright daylight near a window, flat surface, all sides. We reply within 1 business day.
- **Do I need an appointment?** Walk-ins are welcome during business hours. For a large collection book an appointment so we can give you dedicated time.
- **Should I clean my coins first?** No. Never clean coins or notes in any way and touch them as little as possible. One client gently washed a rare banknote and its value fell from $20,000 to $500.
- **How should I prepare for our meeting?** Group things in boxes or bags by type - proof and mint sets, albums, holders, loose change. Don’t over-study; we price common issues by roll and set quickly.
- **If I sell to you for $500, how do I know you won’t sell it for $150,000?** We want to be known as the people who got you the $150,000. We explain what we see in every piece and how we priced it.
- **If you refer me to another dealer or auction, do you get a kickback?** You are our client. Any finder’s fee is agreed with you upfront and disclosed - most of the time we prefer to be paid fairly by you for a job well done.
- **Are your appraisals accepted by lawyers and courts?** Yes. We work with estate lawyers across New Jersey and provide written appraisals for estate planning, divorce and inheritance disputes.
- **Is there a minimum or maximum?** No minimum - from a single silver coin to large collections. High-value items get secure handling and immediate payment.
